#2 INTERNAL REPRESENTATIVE SERVICE AND INSTALLATION

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technical Representative plays a crucial role in promoting and selling core products and services, including service contracts and maintenance work for existing boilers. Responsibilities include mastering the equipment of a thermal power plant, understanding the operation of the network and the sales processes for our services, in order to respond effectively to customer needs. To excel as an Internal Technical Representative, it is essential to have a thorough knowledge of the products and services offered by Thermotech Combustion, and above all, to be able to present them in a clear and accessible way to customers who are not technical specialists. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with various team departments (services, purchasing, accounting).
  • Develop complete solutions to present to our customers.
  • Based on recommendations from the service team i.e. part replacement, boiler repairs and basic piping repairs.
  • Request and analyze material and equipment quotes from various suppliers.
  • Produce estimates using our centralized management software (ERP) and maintain the job log in the CRM (creation and follow-up).

QUALITIES REQUIRED

  • College-level training, ideally in building mechanics or similar, or relevant experience.
  • Sales experience an asset.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of steam boilers / hydronics.
  • Knowledge of process mechanics an asset.
  • Fluency in French and English.
