Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Manufacturing Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and rigorous follow-up of fabrication projects in the workshop (pumping skids, modular units, combustion systems).
The incumbent acts as the central link between the client, the design department, and the production team to ensure that each project is delivered according to specifications, on schedule, and within the established budgets.

Project Coordination and Kick-off
Participate in the review of fabrication files upon receipt of orders.
Assist in preparing production schedules and tracking milestones.
Coordinate start-up activities with internal teams (production, procurement, engineering, and clients).
Perform necessary follow-ups to ensure the availability of materials and components.
Monitoring of Fabrication Activities
Ensure daily follow-up on work progress in the workshop.
Update schedules and tracking tools (dashboards, ERP, Excel).
Contribute to resolving operational issues in collaboration with teams.
Administrative and Budget Support
Participate in monitoring project costs (labor hours, materials).
Compile data required for progress reports.
Assist with document management (purchase orders, scope changes, client files).
Verify and process project-related billing (suppliers and clients).
Communication and Collaboration
Maintain regular communication with production, engineering teams, and clients.
Ensure proper information flow between stakeholders.
Participate in project follow-up meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
Required Skills
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and piping drawings.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Natural leadership and strong communication skills with trade teams (welders, assemblers, electricians), clients, professionals, and suppliers.
Strong sense of urgency and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Experience and Education
College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in production management engineering, building mechanical engineering, or any relevant combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in project coordination within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficiency with planning tools (MS Project, Excel).
Experience with ERP software (integrated inventory and project management systems).

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Kickoff
Review fabrication documentation upon receipt of customer orders.
Develop production schedules and define critical milestones.
Coordinate kickoff meetings with production teams and procurement to ensure raw materials availability.
Project Lifecycle Management
Monitor daily progress of shop-floor activities.
Manage priorities and adjust schedules based on unforeseen issues or last-minute changes.
Ensure deliverables comply with contractual requirements and Thermotech quality standards.
Financial and Administrative Management
Track project budgets (labor and materials).
Approve supplier invoices related to assigned projects.
Prepare progress reports and document scope changes (change orders).
Communication and Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and external project managers regarding fabrication status.
Work closely with technical designers to validate the manufacturability of drawings.
Coordinate final logistics with the shipping department for on-site delivery.
Required Skills
Project Management: Proficiency with planning tools (MS Project, advanced Excel) and application of production management principles (Lean, Kanban, etc.).
Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret mechanical and piping drawings.
Work Organization: Manage multiple projects simultaneously with rigor and efficiency.

The Experienced Combustion Technician holding a TAG 1 Certificate is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of combustion systems in various industrial settings across Quebec. Key duties include equipment inspection, combustion parameter adjustments, troubleshooting heating system issues, commissioning new equipment, and participating in on-call service rotations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of combustion systems in compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on combustion equipment.
- Analyze operational data and adjust combustion parameters to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve system failures, performing repairs or replacing faulty components.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure effective coordination of combustion-related activities.
- Prepare service reports, document maintenance activities, and maintain up-to-date technical records.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid TAG 1 Certificate (Quebec).
- Technical training in industrial mechanics, thermal engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in combustion system maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of current safety standards and regulations.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and solving technical problems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
